Why do I need these plates?
Do you have three hands? Who feeds you when there is no place to sit and put your drink? The Go Plate is the answer to mobile socializing. Hold your plate and drink in one hand easily, then eat, greet, cheer or just gesture wildly with the other hand. |

Why do they cost more than regular plastic plates?
When other folks have asked that, we bring out the plate and show them the crystal clear, plastic plate that is surprisingly sturdy. Then they get it. The Go Plates are made of sturdy RPET and are priced to be semi-disposable. They are reusable if you choose, hand wash or top rack safe or both. Or, they can be recycled or disposed of easily. That is why we call them semi-disposable.

Where can I use them?
From the idea desk: Tailgating, indoor parties, outdoor parties, picnics and cook outs, boating, camping, outdoor concerts, the beach, showers, receptions, reunions, street fairs, on decks, patios, sidewalks, piers, â?¦you get the picture.

Are they Green?
Of course. Green is not a new concept, (remember the 60's?) but it sure has hit the news and talk shows lately. This time it is without the peace signs and love beads. The Go Plate is made from RPET (water bottles, and other clear bottles, not the yucky stuff.) AND it is recyclable. It is also top rack dishwasher safe for reuse - the ultimate recycle program. We use a soft bottle brush and warm soapy water to get in all the little corners, then pop it on the top rack of the dishwasher.

What is the "Giving Back" program?
This is my favorite project. It is our effort to give you an opportunity to direct proceeds to needed areas in your community. You do not handle any orders, money, product, or delivery! Fill out the fundraising information for your organization and we will create a custom promo code for your group to use in promoting your own fundraising campaign. We will provide electronic files of flyers, website links, etc. for your use on your group's website, newsletters, emails blasts, and printable flyer templates as well. Once the ordering info is distributed, your fund raising job is done. From that point, every order placed using your promo code will create a 5% per box credit to your account. A check will be generated each month or on a regular basis as agreed. You NEVER handle orders, money, product, or delivery. The donors place orders on our website and it is all handled from there. Their order is processed, and shipment is made directly to them. How easy is that? |

How do they work?
Directions are included in every box, and are included on the website.
My version:
1) Select drink, place it under the plate.
2) If it is a bottle, push it through the top opening. It is now secure for eating off the plate. Lift plate off to drink, replace, repeat until you are full.
3) If it is a can, take your free hand, and push the plate cone down until the can meets the underneath side of the cone opening. It is now secure for eating off the plate. To drink, twist the can and the plate in opposite directions to lift the plate off the can. Drink, replace, repeat until you are full.
4) If is it a cup, carefully rest the plate on the cup, securing the top lip of the cup in one of 3 sets of ridges under the cone meant to provide a point to balance the plate on the cup. Push to snap into place for more stable eating. Unsnap to drink, replace plate, repeat until you are full. |
