What is The Go Plate?
The Go Plate is a sturdy, reusable, clear plastic plate that allows you to have a free hand for convenient eating and drinking in social settings. The Go Plate was custom engineered with a custom-sized center hole that accommodates most bottles, cans, and even plastic cups. To take a sip of your drink, you just lift the plate off, enjoy your beverage, and then place The Go Plate back overtop of your beverage container to continue eating and enjoying your food with your free hand. The Go Plate is hand-washable and dishwasher safe (See Instructions for Caring for your Go Plate below for more information on safe washing temperatures), and therefore can be reused many times. When you are done with your Go Plate, it can be safely recycled. The Go Plate is made with recycled RPET plastic, and can withstand food and environmental temperatures of up to 140 ° F. How does The Go Plate Work?
The go plate has a specially engineered center cone that accommodates glass bottles and aluminum cans, resting comfortably and snugly around them. The center cone of The Go Plate also has specially designed ridge, which snap around the lip of most standard 16 oz. and 18 oz. plastic cups, so that the entire plate sits sturdily atop the cup. To enjoy your beverage, you just lift The Go Plate off. In the case of the aluminum cans and plastic cups, you should lightly twist the plate and the beverage in opposite directions to loosen the plate before lifting.
Instructions for Caring for The Go Plate
The Go Plate can be hand washed and reused several times before disposing. You may also wash The Go Plate on the top rack of the dishwasher. Use the energy saving cycle or no heat cycle. The sturdy, plastic Go Plate has been tested and approved at temperatures up to 140 ° F, but the extreme heat of dishwasher drying cycles may cause the product to warp or degrade. Once you are ready to dispose of your Go Plate, you can recycle it along with your other plastics. |
